Join us for a session focusing on how IENs can build therapeutic nurse-client relationships, providing focused patient centered care in a diverse, equitable and inclusive nursing workplace. We will discuss specific strategies we can use to self- reflect and disengage biases and stereotypes to effectively achieve cultural humility.

Bessie has over 20 years of clinical nursing experience providing quality patient centered care with a strong focus on building therapeutic relationships through self-reflection and professional development, aiming to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

She is an IEN and CARE member since 2012 and is passionate about supporting IENs back into practice, integrating and advancing their nursing career and reaching their full potential
