All applicants to the College of Nurses of Ontario must successfully complete the registration examination for their nursing designation, RN or RPN. If you are applying to practice as an RN, you will write the NCLEX-RN. If you are applying to practice as an RPN, you will write the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination (CPNRE).
CARE Centre offers an exam preparation course for both RN and RPN applicants, open to eligible members who are ready to begin the exam preparation process
The Exam Preparation and Review course is 8 full days of study (including a mock examination and feedback day) and while schedules may vary by location, classes are typically held one day per week.
This course foces on the review and reinforcement of nursing concepts and principles and effective test taking strategies.
Your case manager can provide you with up-to-date schedules for the next session of Exam Preparation and Review at CARE Centres.
All Exam Preparation and Review courses cost $475.00. Tuition Assistance may be available to those who qualify and you are encouraged to speak to your case manager if you are concerned about the cost of this course. The cost of this course also includes a comprehensive study guide.
