We will focus on strategies and skills for communicating patient information effectively. We’ll explore communication and nursing techniques to promote accurate and efficient face-to-face and telephonic communication between nurses and their colleagues.

Cara Malla is an adult education professional whose areas of expertise include language and communication, intercultural collaboration, and workplace integration.

Luciana, a Brazilian RN since 2007, has worked in education, community, and acute care. She received CARE Centre’s 2022 Joan Lesmond Award for her dedication to nursing and leadership in supporting IENs in Ontario.
