As Nurses we are expected to better recognize, respond and support clients, patients and families experiencing crisis. During this session we will discuss strategies and tips developing our crisis care skills in order to effectively work with patients in crisis and prevent future ones from occurring.

Case Manager, Professional Development Lead at CARE Centre for IENs

Bessie is an Internationally Educated Nurse (IEN) and brings over 20 years of extensive nursing experience in a variety of settings. Drawing on her past experience as a Clinical Educator and Nursing Administrator, Bessie currently holds the dual role of Case Manager and Professional Development Lead with CARE Centre for IENs and is passionate about supporting IEN’s reach their full potential advancing their nursing career in Ontario through education and professional development sessions and programming initiatives.
