CARE Centre for Internationally Educated Nurses presents:

By the end of the session, you will be able to identify and differentiate between the various types of wounds, describe the stages of wound healing, and apply dressings and various wound care products suitable for different types of wounds.

Edsel Mutia, RN, is an accomplished healthcare professional and recognized leader with a strong track record in clinical excellence, operations, and community advocacy. With over a decade of experience in healthcare, he has built a reputation for delivering high-quality patient care while contributing to system improvements and team development. Edsel is the recipient of the Joan Lesmond Internationally Educated Nurse (IEN) of the Year Award, recognizing exceptional clinical and therapeutic nursing practice. He has also been named one of the Top 25 Immigrants by Canadian Immigrant Magazine and is a recipient of the Dr. Morris Siu-Chong Memorial Award and the Toronto Star Nightingale Award—honours that reflect both professional excellence and compassionate care.
