This workshop explores challenges you may encounter when communicating with peers, supervisors and other healthcare professionals in the workplace. We’ll learn techniques and practice strategies for overcoming these challenges.

Topics Covered:

  • Interpreting subtle messages to ‘read between the lines
  • Responding professionally and assertively to advocate for self, patients and profession
  • Balancing verbal and non-verbal communication for effective messaging
  • Understanding the impact of tone, manner and word choice in challenging interactions
