Wound Care – In person Workshop in Toronto & Mississauga Peel

This interactive and hands-on workshop will provide you with the core principles for the management of various types of wounds including: pressure injuries, diabetic foot ulcer, leg ulcers, and skin tears. Using case studies and simulation platforms, discussion will highlight best practices for comprehensive wound assessment, steps to make differential diagnosis, infection and biofilm management, topical antimicrobials use, documentation and outcome evaluation. Participants will develop skills in wound wound hygiene, dressing selection, edema management, and off loading.
