This workshop focuses on a key aspect of nursing care in Canadian contexts: health teaching to clients. We’ll explore and practice strategies for communicating information clearly, efficiently and effectively empowering patients and promoting informed decision making.

PRESTENTERS: 

Salwa Musa is an experienced public health nurse and a PhD student at the University of Alberta, Faculty of Nursing. She holds a Bachelor of Nursing from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson) and a Master of Nursing from York University. Salwa’s clinical expertise spans critical care, pediatrics, public health, and nursing education
