PRESTENTERS:

Vishwa Shah, RN, MN, Supervised Practice Experience Partnership

A TMU graduate and former Sunnybrook hematology nurse, Vishwa has supported IENs and new nurses as a Transition Nurse Mentor. After completing her MN in Health Systems Leadership at U of T in 2024, she became the SPEP Project Manager at Sunnybrook.

Luciana Lima Dias da Cruz, RN BScN, CARE Centre Case Manager

Luciana, a Brazilian RN since 2007, has worked in education, community, and acute care. She received CARE Centre’s 2022 Joan Lesmond Award for her dedication to nursing and leadership in supporting IENs in Ontario. SHe is currently also an instructor at Univerity of Toronto teaching the Transition to Practice Course.
