The CNA Certification Mentorship Program is comprised of  nurse mentors from across Canada who volunteer their time to provide support and assistance to certification candidates. Nurse mentors hold current CNA certification and have a minimum of three years’ experience in their chosen nursing practice specialty. As the majority of the time spent in mentorship occurs prior to IENs’ arrivals in Canada, mentoring commonly takes place over videoconferencing and email.
